For software download information:
- Download free Juice (formerly, iPodder) or jPodder
software to receive podcasts.
- iTunes is the (free) software that comes with and lets the Apple iPod
automatically download from the computer station directly to the users iPod
unit
- You do not need an iPod to hear the audio feeds/ podcast, therefore,
anyone can listen to podcasts using their default Windows Media player,
the RealAudio player, or the iTunes player.
- If a user has an iPod and uses a Windows-based computer (Vista, XP,
2000, 98), they should first follow the iPod manufacturing instructions to
install iTunes, then download and install the iPodder software.
- The user should follow the manufacturer/website instructions to download
the online software (such as Juice or jPodder) and refer to
any online help files regarding installation requirements and product use.
How to listen to your first podcast:
- After downloading, installing, and starting the Juice or jPodder software,
click Add Feed (green plus sign button icon or on top toolbar/ tools/
add a feed).
- Copy (CTRL+C) the following URL and then paste (CTRL+V), it into the URL
text box in the Add Feed window. Or type the link in the URL
box: http://www.calmingvoicebyjoseph.com/rss/feed.xml
- Click the Save button.
- Downloads will begin automatically or under Tools select Catch
Up, make sure feed is selected. Feeds can be scheduled to download (i.e.
every hour) so that the mp3 files will be auto downloaded to the user computer
hard drive.
- Right click the desired 60 Seconds episode and Play in your
media player.
For iTunes/ iPod users:
- After Juice downloads the media file iTunes will launch automatically.
- Connect the iPod device to the computer using manufacturers instructions.
- The podcast will automatically download all podcast media files to the player.
- To disconnect from PC - follow manufacturer instructions when safe to disconnect.
- Select/ the podcast file to play - listen and enjoy!
